The German (and Australian?) versions are censored. The EU release has English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish while the US release has only English and Spanish. The EU locale has more languages than the US version. They are both identical in terms of gameplay, however their executables differ. Retail (disc) versions all have a few releases that were sold in different regions. In the main menu, no version number is displayed at the bottom-right of the screen ( image). It is programmed to crash if the game is modded, however the modding community found a workaround 2. v2.00 and v1.00/v1.01 are totally independant of each other.
